Ski trail fees
Voluntary ski trail fees in the 2024–2025 winter season
The City is introducing a voluntary ski trail fee in Santahaka. The ski trail fee is one of the actions in the City’s economic program and it is used i.e. for opening the first snow ski trail.
The voluntary ski trail fee is 5 €/single visit or 25 €/season.
Children and young people under the age of 18 can still ski free of charge.
The length of the first snow ski trail in Santahaka is about one kilometer and it is made with stored artificial snow. Making, storing and spreading artificial snow costs about 35,000 euros every year. Using stored snow ensures skiing opportunities during winters with little snow and in fluctuating weather conditions.
We hope that as many skiers as possible will pay the ski trail fee so we can store snow and make the first snow ski trail in upcoming seasons. The ski trail fee is voluntary and it will not be monitored separately. We will provide information regularly on how many people have paid the ski trail fee.
A big thank you in advance and happy skiing!
